  1. I like the second video better. I like the relationship between the man and the gorilla as it is very unique yet almost inspiring in a way. I don't think I've had a “powerful” encounter with an animal. I have two cats but nothing extreme has ever happened.

  3. I liked the second video more. The relationship between the man and the gorilla was really touching. I think that a real video was more moving than just pictures. I liked how the second has a good ending and it made me feel happy opposed to the first which was depressing. My dog cookie has been the animal with the most impact with me. She will do anything and loves to follow me around, she my follower. I love going on walks with her and she is more pleasant to be around than many humans I know. I've had her since such a young age I think I will be in shambles when she passes.

  7. Personally I think that the gorilla video wins, just because I think the story was very interesting. It was amazing to see the connection between a human and a gorilla especially because they hadn't seen each other for so long.

I feel like the relationship between human and animals are very important. Animals help humans greatly because they have a much simpler lifestyle than humans. We as people are very complicated with our lives and our feelings but animals are much more basic. This makes them much more reliable and very good friends to us humans.

I can't think of one specific moment where an animal has impacted my life, however I find great comfort in interacting with animals; dogs specifically.

  9. i honestly liked both of the videos, but the gorilla and human video was pretty awesome how even an animal loves and missed him when he left i think its beautiful how you can build a relationship with animals, everyone needs love. its not that my cat has impacted my life but i had her for my first 15 years of my life and she was so loving and when i was sad she knew and woudnt stop nuzzling me until i smiled , building love between an animal and yourself is so cute i think its just amazing

  11. The gorilla story had more of an impact on me so to me that one won. It was amazing to see the realtionship they developed and how the gorilla still remembered him after so many years. I think people and animals can have very strong, life changing connections. They can usually make us happier and since they can't talk, they show us their love and affection. My most powerful relationship with an animal would have been my dog keego that I got when I was about 4 years old, who sadly passed away a couple years ago. It was such a strong relationship that he would be one of the reasons I would look forward to going home and seeing him after suck a long day. And it's weird, he was always in a good mood and there for me in a way.

  13. The second video really caught my attention for the fact that it was an wild
animal that can be harmful and the distance it went through to go find his human friend. It really opened my eyes how one animal can have such a powerful relationship. I thought it was crazy how long of a time period it was and then to have the animal remember was pretty amazing .
I think that it's the other way around animals have the powerful relationship with humans. Its really amazing how one single animal can develop such a powerful relation with a human and I think that's when it gets the human to have that mutual feeling back. I also feel that it doesn't have to be domestic animals either it really can happen to any wild or domestic animal I feel they all have that connection to humans some animals can show it more then others. The most impact encounter I had with animals was probably when I cry my animals know when I'm hurt. When a death was in my family and our emotion in the house was sad my dog knew and was calm the whole time or when I do something so small as stubbing my toe really hard my dog is always there and knows something is up.

  15. I really enjoyed the second video about the gorilla. It was such an amazing thing to watch the gorilla, who had not seen his human friend for 5 years, remember him. People always say animals are so stupid, and we don't give them enough credit for how smart they really are. I think the most impactful encounter I've had with an animal would have to be with the puppy we just got. When we went to go pick one out, I waited for one of the puppies to come to me. And lily, our new puppy, slowly came over and started to sniff me and then climbed up on my leg and stayed there until we left. I just felt like she knew she was safe with me and my family, and it was a really nice moment. Now she's a crazy puppy!

  17. The gorilla video was the winner for me by a landslide because it kind of reminded of the connection and how close I was with my cat Cheemoo.

The most impactful encounter I have had with an animal is with my cat Cheemoo. I had her since he was born till the day she passed away. And over the 10 years I had her, she was one of the closest in my life. She would always sit beside whenever I would play video games, listen to me talk about anything or everything, and sleep at the foot of my bed as a bodyguard. She has made my life so much more enjoyable and I will NEVER forget her.

  19. I think the second video wins. It wins because it it was heart warming how the gorilla actually remembered the man. It made me almost cry. The fact that animals can Remember the humans even after they are let back into the wild is absolutely amazing! They have an amazing memory. It's truly fascinating.

I think the most impactful encounter I've had with an animal would have to be when I went away for a weekend and when I came home my dog was soo excited to see me. He couldn't contain himself he was so exited. He followed me around the whole night. It was the cutest thing ever. I like knowing that he missed me so much. It shows how much they truly love you.
